Building up to Xmas
Yesterday the 11th December was an interesting and stimulating day . The Court meeting affirmed its committment to the programme of activity by the FMGP and this was followed by a most enjoyable Xmas lunch .In the evening Lis and I ,accompanied by several other Water Conservators with partners and guests, enjoyed a candlelight Christmas Carol Service at St Mary at Hill . I had the honour of reading the third lesson . We are supporters of this Service . It was a lovely start to the Xmas season . Thank you for all of the kind messages of suppport during this Season of Goodwill ;may Lis and I wish you all the very best for Xmas and the New Year

A busy week just gone
I have been tied up with a variety of matters paricularly in Wales .
On the 27th Lis went to a lunch at Tallow Chandlers Hall as the guest of the Mistress Tallow Chandler ,Lady Snyder . The guest speaker was the Lady Mayoress . Lis reports a most pleasant event .On the 28th I attended the Past Masters' meeting in which we reviewed progess during my year and I reported the committment and involvement of many members of the Company .Lis joined us for the following lunch as did other Past Mistresses.
