Lis and I went to St Pauls for the 359th Festival of the Sons of the Clergy in the late afternoon .The Sons and Friends  of the Clergy  is a Charity which supports the Clergy .It was a wonderful ceremony,  full of pageantry and uplifting  music with a serious undertone . The address by the Bishop of Norwich recounting how his own father had benefited from the Charity was moving. One Master commented that this sort of event was at the very heart of our national identity and we felt proud to be there.
